  1. Reminder that the next Animal Help & Resources seminar is on September 19th at Tempe at 10AM in a meeting room there. Check the front page at CommunityCause.org for more information. Just scroll down to the cute dog picture and click to learn more. Ask the front desk at Tempe Library to learn which meeting room. This is an exact repeat of the event we hosted at Mesa Main Library & Mesa Express Library. Please tell your friends! Also, here is another great event:

Please copy & paste the information below and send it out to any clients, colleagues, family members and your social media networks that may be interested. ?

Low Cost Microchip and Vaccination Clinic for Your Dogs & Cats on Sunday September 18 from 9 to 2:00 p.m. at the University of Arizona Maricopa County Cooperative Extension building on 4341 E. Broadway in Phoenix (roughly 43rd street and Broadway).

Here is the link if you need more information: http://cabra.org/clinics.html

The HomeAgain microchip including registration is only $20 each.

Vaccinations (parvo/distemper, rabies, or bordatella) are only $15 each if the dog/cat gets a microchip or has one($20 each if they don’t).

We do have the cat equivalent of distemper shots at the same prices. These are great prices and reflect our low overhead. Other than the vet and vet tech, the other workers are volunteers. There is no separate vet examination fee.

Microchips are increasingly being cited as the basis for getting lost pets back to their owners. Recent publicized stories have dogs being returned up to YEARS after the pet is lost and all because of a microchip. At these prices you want your pet to have one. NOBODY thinks their dog is going to get out and get lost but the pound is full of those dogs. Even the best owners can lose a dog.

Our microchips and shots are given by a licensed vet and there isno “visit” charge. This by itself can save you $40-50dollars. This clinic is open to the general public and you don’t have to have an appointment or even be a member of CABRA to participate. So come on out

Please be there before 1:00 if you are bringing multiple pets.

Please notice that we use HomeAgain microchips. These cost us more than several of the other brands but we think they are the best.

We accept cash, checks, debit, or credit cards.

Don’t wait till your pet gets lost to think about microchipping. At these prices you don’t want to risk it. This low cost vaccination clinic event is sponsored by the Coalition of All Breed Rescue of Arizona (CABRA), a nonprofit IRS 501(c)(3) organization.
