Our Mission Statement: The mission of 4 Paws is to promote the physical and psychological well being of animals by providing a safe haven for cats while finding them adoptive homes or life long shelter.
What we do. Who we Help: We are a no kill cat shelter helping cats find forever homes since 1996. We intake and adopt hundreds of cats and kittens yearly and are run entirely on donations. All of our cats and kittens are Felv/Fiv tested, vaccinated and sterilized prior to adoption.

we do not pick up cats
we do not have a public veterinary service OR spay/neuter service
The Process for Receiving Our Services is: call or email (info@4pawsrescue.org) to see if have available space for intake (we rarely do during kitten season). We DO charge a surrender fee on all intakes and require all adult cats to be Felv/Fiv tested and be negative for both (or have proof or negativity). We cannot take positive cats due to space restrictions. If looking to adopt, we are open Tues-Sat from 10-3

We are unable to pick up donations
Our Major Fundraising Events & Activities–Help Needed: we have numerous event scheduled all year, every year. Events can be found at: http://www.4pawsrescue.org under the events tab. We would love to have a newspaper/radio/television connection for advertising!
How we use your Monetary Donations: Monies donated always go back to the cats. Most of it goes to pay for veterinary services, spay & neuter services, day to day feeding/cleaning etc.
Volunteers Opportunities & All Job Descriptions———> Search for Type of Volunteer Activities You Want to Do: cleaners: for daily cage cleaning and feeding, includes cleanup of area/cages, laundry, dishes, cleaning boxes & scoops, sweeping, mopping. Must be able to bend & lift 20lbs
socializers: socialize the cats, pet, brush, play with the cats

An Example of a Volunteer who would be a Great Fit and/or Characterisitics of an Ideal Volunteer for us: must be 16 yrs old, must be able to lift 20 lb minimum, must be able to bend, stoop, kneel. We ask for a 3 hour minimum per day.
