Our Community Project Goal:
Our goal is to fundraise the training fees needed to support returning veteran, Major Jim Smith, in his quest to achieve his solar panel installation certification. Let’s help this Veteran achieve a certification that will be his ticket to secure employment. Let’s help this man who sacrificed so much to achieve training in a profession that will lead him to a comfortable middle class lifestyle after the difficulties he has endured on our behalf.
Veteran Biography: Major Jim Smith did 3 tours in Iraq and 1 tour in Afghanistan. After having experienced….Sample project example only.

The Problem we are trying to Solve:
Over 24% of all returning Veterans are currently unemployed! It is our duty to support the troops now that they are home!
Connections, Referral, Networking Opportunities Needed to Make this Project a Success:
Major Smith would like to connect with anyone who has done the solar panel installation training so he can get some tips.
This Veteran also needs referrals or connections to solar companies that may potentially hire him after he gets his certification.
Cash Donations Needed to Make this Project a Success:
We estimate that we will need to raise $10,085 to complete the entire project.
The price of the solar installation course is $795
The certification test is $170
The NABCEP certification application fee is $120
