If your organization would like to make a "Request for Help", please fill out the form below to get started!

Please select the type of community volunteer project that best meets your needs. If you are "Not Sure", no worries. Please know that we will get your "Request for Help" to the right place when we see you describe the type of help you need for your project..

The following questions are meant as "prompts" only. You may fill out whichever questions seem most relevant to your needs and skip the rest. Tip: The More Specific You Are, The More Likely it is that You Will Receive Exactly what You Need. Please Note: Whenever you send in a "Request for Help", we call it Opening a "Request for Help Project". It is just like opening a ticket or a job task for computer help or other assistance only you are "opening a project" to request the type of volunteer help that your organization needs! 🙂

  • Name of the Organization that is requesting help and opening this "Request for Help Project". Please skip this question if you are requesting a Mentor or a Mentee as no affiliation with an organization is needed.

For organizations, please include your organization's mission statement. This will be visible to the public. This information will be on the "Request for Help" post on the CommunityCause.org website.

  • Is there a Name for Your Project or a Volunteer Job Title?

  • What type of project do you need help with? What are you striving to create or accomplish with this project? Who (what population) is helped by completing this project?

  • What, specifically, will you need the Specialized Community Volunteer to do? What specific tasks do you need to have completed? What type of volunteer help do you need? How much financial help or how many in kind services will you need? What do you need to make your project a success?

If you are creating a volunteer "job description, please include information on the “job description” for the skills, expertise and character traits of the type of person that would be a good fit for your project. Please list the type of tasks that the community volunteer will be expected to handle or complete.

How many people do you need to do this same job description? IMPORTANT: If you have more than one type of volunteer position/job description that you need for the same project, please fill out one of these forms for each different position or "job description". You may copy & paste the project description information that stays the same. You will be creating a "project" for each different volunteer position/job description. That way your "Requests for Help" will be sent to very different potential community volunteers.

For example, if you are doing a Walkathon Fundraiser that requires 5 different job positions, you would open 5 different projects by filling out 5 different "Requests for Help". Simply copy & paste the repetitive "Description of Your Project" into each. You would do one "Request for Help Form" asking for an "Event Manager", one asking for 3 people to be "Greeters" on event day, one asking for 8 people to physically set up the event tents, one for an Accountant/Bookkeeper to keep track of donations and one for a Lawyer to make sure your event and permission sheets to participate in the event are legally in order. Once CommunityCause.org receives your 5 "Requests for Help" we send them down different pathways or channels in order to qet you the help you need.
