There are 2 options for contacting our “Help Desk” and Ombudsman Service:
The community volunteers serving on the “Help Desk” and as Ombudsman are available to help. There are 2 options for getting your question or Request for Help in front of a volunteer Ombudsman who strives to help people with that specific type of issue.
Option #1: Simply send in your question or Request for Help as a “comment” and we will direct you to the people & resources that can help. To learn more, please click on the type of issue you have and the kind of Ombudsman assistance you need. Who do you wish to help?:

Please remember that the Ombudsman Service is for more complex and out of the ordinary questions & concerns. If you have a routine or procedural question, you will want the help of the community volunteer navigators. You will want the Help from a Neighborhood Resource Person–Click Here!
Examples of what a Neighborhood Resource Person does: Help a person adopt a rescued dog, Guide someone through the process of putting solar panels on their house, Assist a Veteran in getting the benefits they qualify for or Walk a person through the process of incorporating as a nonprofit organization. These are routine procedures and people with experience & expertise with the issue can easily assist you in successfully navigating the process.
If you are confused, just send in a question or Request for Help on any post or web page that seems relevant. Simply send your request in as a comment in the “Share Information & Resources” comment section at the bottom of any page or post. The community volunteers helping with CommunityCause.org will make sure your request goes down the right channels or “pathways” and gets to the people who can assist you! We are here to help! 🙂
Option #2: You may send in your question or Request for Help through our classified ads. This reaches a wider community of individuals who may have ideas, information or resources that can help.

All Ombudsmen helping to answer inquiries are community volunteers who state that they have some experience or expertise in the various areas. Use your own judgement on what advice to follow and use the same caution as you would anywhere else on the internet. These community volunteers respond to inquiries as they would on a “forum” or “thread”. The helpful folks who assist you are not screened and are not CommunityCause.org volunteers. Share only information that you would feel comfortable sharing elsewhere on the internet.
Let’s work together to make it easier for people with questions and issues to find the support they deserve and the information they need to find solutions that will make their life easier and resolve the problem. Our Ombudsman Service, offered by community volunteers, is available to assist you. An Ombudsman is someone who can help you navigate the complexities of a system to help you get answers or results that you need. They give you suggestions & help you to cut through “red tape”. Simply send in your question or Request for Help and we will direct you to the people & resources that can help.
Our “Help Desk” & Ombudsman Service has community volunteers who help get you the assistance you need to solve any challenge or difficulty. It is designed to help you to navigate the system of available help. There are several different parts to our “Help Desk” & Ombudsman Service.

The online categories on the CommunityCause.org website offer replies to specific issues in the same way that a real live Ombudsman Service community volunteer would so please check these resources first, before contacting the Ombudsman Service.

- Neighborhood Resource Person–Get Help for easier difficulties by contacting a person directly. They are willing to help walk you through specific types of situations within their area of experience.
- Ombudsman Service offered by community volunteers–Get Help with more complicated issues. This is especially good for tougher situations that could not be worked through using the Concierge Service. The “Community Response System” sends your request out to community volunteers who are waiting to help on a variety of issues. It works like a forum or online community that send in suggestions or recommendations in response to your question.
