Join us for the groundbreaking second meeting of Code Sisters on Saturday, June 27th, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Gangplank, 260 S. Arizona Ave, Chandler 85225. This is the second in a monthly series of free courses to teach women to code, complete with mentorship, technical support, and suggested resources.
For this second session, we will build a to do list in JavaScript using a text editor and a web browser. We will follow a structured curriculum and have mentors available to answer questions and help you if you get stuck.
Our Second Assignment
Build a ‘To do list’ in basic JavaScript.
This is a fun, intermediate level project that you can complete in one day. Come to this session of Code Sisters with the following:
• Bring a laptop and power cord
• Have browser of choice and a text editor installed on your laptop
• Pack a lunch or bring money to eat out at one of the many local food establishments that downtown Chandler offers within walking distance.
The workshop is free. Men may attend as the guest of a woman.

This second in a series of three JavaScript workshops will teach you:
– How JavaScript, CSS, and HTML interact with the browser.
– How to use JavaScript to interact with a server.
– How to incrementally add features to your application.
– How to get your application online.
