How we use your Monetary Donations: We use monetary donations to fulfill our mission of helping individuals and families dwell in dignity by providing furniture and essential household items to transform a house into a home.
We purchase new mattresses and pillow for our clients. We also rent moving trucks (truck rental, gas) to pick up donations and deliver items to our clients, rent two storage units (rent, insurance) for the donated furniture and household items, and have other program and operational costs.

An Example of a Volunteer who would be a Great Fit and/or Characterisitics of an Ideal Volunteer for us: All volunteers will need to sign a Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability and a Confidentiality Agreement. If the volunteer is 14-17, a parent or legal guardian will need to sign the Volunteer Release and Waiver as well. Some of our volunteer work will require lifting heavy furniture. We also have volunteer work that does not include lifting heavy furniture. Each volunteer will need to be aware of his/her limitations.
