Red Means Stop works with teens from low-income families to send them to driver education classes to obtain their drivers license.
Red Means Stop will participate in safety fairs in neighborhoods, businesses, fairs and private events.
Red Means Stop will speak in schools (Elementary, Middle and High School, Defensive Driving Courses, College Classes.

Volunteers Opportunities & All Job Descriptions———> Search for Type of Volunteer Activities You Want to Do: Helping with safety events, wearing the mascot (Stoppy the Redlight), marching in parades, board membership, speaking in schools
Child or Teen Volunteers Accepted?————-Yes——>: 12 and older can march in parades, teens can volunteer at safety events, teens can wear the mascot outfit, parents are not required to be present

An Example of a Volunteer who would be a Great Fit and/or Characterisitics of an Ideal Volunteer for us: Board members- previous experience with non-profit boards or personal experience with red light running.
Mascot wearing – 12 years old and up. Must not be claustrophobic. Expect to be warm inside the outfit. Able to wear large clown-like shoes. Good balance.

Special Skills & Expertise Needed?–Type of Help Requested: Fundraiser, grant writer, long-term or short-term to assist in raising money for Red Means Stop.
