Our Mission Statement: The goal of The Foundation for Homeless Cats is to educate community leaders and residents of Maricopa County, Arizona, on implementing an economically feasible method for humanely reducing the population of stray and free roaming cats, thus easing neighborhood tensions, fostering compassion, and to see abuse diminished and laws enforced.

The Foundation for Homeless is a nonprofit 501(c)3 advocacy organization working to end the killing of free roaming cats and provide property owners with resources to implement a low cost, long term, nonlethal cat management solution in Maricopa County, Arizona. Our work is centered in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. We assist homeowner associations, apartment complexes, mobile home parks, businesses, government offices, or individuals with free roaming and stray cat populations to adopt a Cat Management Plan using Trap-Neuter-Return.

Deer Valley area Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program seeking volunteers to supply our colony cat feeding stations with food/water, care and kind words. The kitties need you!
Our volunteer colony caretakers feed in the evening around dusk, 2-3 times a week. We provide food/supplies/training. This will only take 1-2 hours per week, but makes a HUGE impact for keeping these cats out of local municipal shelters. They would not make it out of the shelter alive.
These cats are spayed/neutered and are a bit fearful of humans. So you would not be able to pet these kitties. They will get to know you and be happy to see you, even from afar. The cats say “Thank Mew” for caring!
