Our Mission Statement: MACH One: A hands on maker space that encourages, educates and empowers developing minds to expand and explore all things. Through public classes, programs and workshops the library focuses upon providing rich opportunities into expanded learning and growth in a real world setting.
What we do. Who we Help: The MACH One is a Phoenix Public Library a 5000 square foot ‘Maker Space’ filled with natural light. MACH One strives to inspire and educate all ages by providing a dynamic maker space with programs, instruction, supplies and software access to all patrons free of charge. It is located on the 4th floor of Burton Barr Central Library in Central Phoenix – just south of McDowell Rd on Central Avenue.
As the Central Branch of Phoenix Public Library, it encourages children, teens and adults of all ages to share and learn from common interests in technology, engineering, science, and art and to collaborate and inspire with each other. The space is free to all.
MACH One also welcomes both student and Adult volunteers as well as business professionals with unique expertise to share their knowledge and skills with opportunities of leading programs of all kinds.
