Project Proposal:
We need your help on this project! Help us to find people who have experience with or knowledge about Autism who are willing to offer FREE assistance to people in their community as a Neighborhood Resource Person. A Neighborhood Resource Person puts themselves forward as someone willing to help because they have personal experience with Autism or some expertise that they are willing to share.
If you are willing to share your time & talents as a Neighborhood Resource Person who assists with Autism issues, please learn more about how to get involved by scrolling down the page to Option #3 below. If you are in need of tips & advice regarding Autism, you may also find out how to locate a Neighborhood Resource Person willing to help by scrolling down the page to Option #3 below.
Let’s work together to make it easier for people with Autism related questions to find the support they deserve and the information they need to find solutions that will make their life easier. Let’s Make a Difference in our Community and Share what Helps! As a Neighborhood Resource Person assisting with Autism issues you will guide people to useful tips, advice, books, blogs, websites, videos, newsletters, scientific research, resources and organizations that can help with Autism. You may answer questions such as these:
What people, organizations and resources really help with Autism? Which organizations are working on Autism issues and having a positive impact? What leads to a successful result when a person has a question or a concern regarding Autism? Who should you call? What should you do? Where should you go for help and accurate information about Autism? What actions and responses are most helpful when one has an Autism issue? What type of Autism public awareness campaigns, Autism support groups, Autism information clubs, Autism community assistance programs and Autism (pre)intervention programs work best? What are some good examples of this Autism concerns handled well? What are common mistakes that I can avoid? What have other people dealing with Autism issues discovered that works?

Let’s make a Neighborhood Resource Person, Autism organization, Autism Help & Community Resource marketplace! We want to make it quick & easy for people in our community to access the resources they need to get help with Autism. The free classified ad will allow the public to find and interact with you directly in order to get help with Autism related issues.
To place or view a FREE classified ad for a Neighborhood Resource Person Willing to Help–Click Here! This listing is available for the general public to view. Any contact people have with you is sent through our system. Your e-mail address is kept confidential unless you specifically list your contact information in the contact area of your ad. In the Classified Ad listing, you may include your preferences: what your service area is, hours available, preferred communication mode (phone, skype, e-mail, or in person–meeting in a public place–please use caution) as well as the type of people you prefer to help (seniors, professionals, single parents, volunteers, etc.) and the kind of issues you feel comfortable handling. Option #4—If you are passionate about Autism related issues and would like to be even more involved….Join with others who are working on this issue. You can link up with like-minded others who are passionate about projects like this.You may choose to be one of the “Community Visionaries” seeking to find solutions to social & environmental issues in our community.
Community Visionaries are like a “working group” of concerned community members who are passionate about a specific issue. They are the decision makers and the movers and shakers in this community regarding Autism related issues. Community Visionaries may or may not be assisting with this specific project.
