    Project Proposal:

A local nonprofit group named “Lost our Home” is hard at work rescuing dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. They are seeking to find safe, furr-ever homes for these animals that have suffered so much already. For general information and to go to their website lostourhome.org Click on the purple link.

You can help! While the animals are in their care they need the help of children & parents to come read stories to the dogs, cats, puppies and kittens to comfort them. You will also be socializing the animals which means they will become comfortable with and friendly towards people of all ages.

Your time spent reading to the dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be helping to prepare animals for adoption into new families! Children will also be getting lots of reading practice that will help them gain confidence and increase their literacy. This is a win-win for all involved! Will you help?
