Classes & Events of Interest to Teens and their Parents and/or Caregivers
Please feel Free to add any upcoming Classes or Events that might be of interest to teens and their parents and/or caregivers. On the linked pages you will find other Free classes.
Below, you will find the classes that are currently being offered to teens and their families as a fundraiser for an animal sanctuary & rescue. When you attend you will be learning great new information & skills and you will be helping homeless animals! No need to call to register or let us know that you are attending class. Just show up and join us at the following location and dates.
COST: Total cost for one class is $15 exact change which covers the teen & 1 parent. Total cost for both (2) classes is $25 exact change which covers the teen & 1 parent. $5 for additional attendees.
Important: Please Bring Exact Change to the Class—CASH ONLY! No Checks or Coins! No change is available at the location. Also, if you require a verification of attendance certificate, please bring the sheet to be signed.

Location: We will be meeting at a Community Room (located near the Dobson Road Library) It is at 2425 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, Arizona. The Community Room is located at 2425 S. Dobson Road on the east side of the street. If you take the Superstition Freeway (I-60), just take the Dobson Rd. exit and head south. The Community Room is located on the east side of the street between Baseline Road and Guadalupe Road. Turn in the same parking lot as the library but Do Not Enter the library. The Community Room is a separate building located to the left of the library. The class will meet at the door of the community room.
Location:All of the Sunday Classes are held at the same location at Gaicki Park in Tempe, Arizona. Directions are at the bottom of this page. Thanks for supporting homeless animals!

We will be meeting at Gaicki Park in Tempe on McClintock Dr. in Tempe, Arizona, just south of Baseline Rd. From the East Valley, take the I-60, Superstition Freeway, towards Tempe and exit at McClintock Drive. Then, head south in the direction of Chandler. From the West Valley, take the I-17 south to the I-10 towards Tucson to the 60 east and exit at McClintock. From the North Valley, take the 51 south to the I-10 towards Tucson to the I-60 east and exit at McClintock and head south. Driving south on McClintock Dr., just south of Baseline Rd, you will see the Tempe Fire Department on your right (do not go in there). Continue driving south, watching on your left for the park. You will see a green sign for Cornell Rd./South Shore Rd. and you will see the park on the corner on your left. Keep going…there is only one parking lot and you will turn in there off of McClintock Dr. If you get to Watson Dr. or to Guadalupe Dr., you have gone too far. The park is between Baseline and Guadalupe on McClintock Dr. Please wait for the instructor at the picnic tables. Pleas wait to give the class fee and ask questions of the instructor. Please park in the lot and look for the cement picnic tables under the building’s covered patio. We meet under the covered patio at Gaicki Park, so bring a cool drink.
