Helpful Search Tips You may refine your search and get started Getting Help much faster by posting your information on the page that is most relevant to the type of help that you need. You can just type in your Request for Help as a comment on a specific page & then your Request for Help comment is instantly sent out to the organizations & individuals that offer the type of help that you are need! 🙂 If you use the contact form above there will be a delay while you wait for a community volunteer to view your offer to help and send it down the best communication pathway. Use any of the purple links below to navigate to your destination. All web pages are organized by cause, issue, or interest. If you are looking for assistance for any of these categories, please click on the purple links ***Help for Animals*** in general, ***Help for Dogs***, ***Help for Cats***, ***Help for the Environment***, ***Help for People*** in general, ***Help for Children***, ***Help for Teens***, ***Help for Seniors***, ***Veterans & Active Military***, etc.

Use the Tabs on the Menus of the website to navigate. Simply Hover over any of the Words just below the CommunityCause.org name and a drop down menu of options will appear. For instance, if you are looking for for Animal Help, Environment Help, People Help or Organization Help, simply hover over that word and more specific options will appear. Simply select and then click on your choice of destination. There will be further options and hyperlinks on each page.

Search the Directory of Services & Organizations to search for organizations that can help. Simply peruse the categories of help available to find someone who can help.

Use the “Search this Website” option in the upper right hand corner of this website to search for key words that will take you to the pages that will give you the information that you are seeking.

Concierge Service–Best Pathways for Assistance in common situations. Use the “Search this Website” option in the upper right hand corner of this website to search for Checklists of What to Do in specific situations. For example, if you type in, “dog help” or noun + help you, will be taken directly to the web pages that will provide helpful crowdsourced checklists of what to do and lists of which organizations will help. You may also get even more specific crowdsourced checklists if you type in “lost dog help” or adjective + noun + help. Simply add the word “help” after your key word. For example, “teen help”, “veteran help”, “lost dog help”, “outside cat help”, etc.

Crowdsource the answer to your question by creating a classified ad for easier questions in the category of “Ombudsman–Easy Questions–Ask the Public–Crowdsourcing”. Or, ask people in your community who have experience relevant to the topic by creating a classified ad in the category “Neighborhood Resource People Willing to Help”. This is a free service. You will be requesting help from members of the public willing to help in your community.

Request help from volunteer ombudsmen in your community by crowdsourcing your question or issue that is more challenging. Post a classified ad for more involved situations in the category of “Ombudsman–Help with Difficult Problems”. This is a free service. You will be requesting help from members of the community who have some experience & expertise. In addition, CommunityCause.org will try to locate local experts who can assist you in answering difficult questions and resolving challenging situations (Important: Non-Emergency Situations Only!).

Use the “Search this Website” option in the upper right hand corner of this website to search for projects relevant to your interest. Simply type in the key words that will take you to the projects that may be relevant to the information that you are seeking. If you are looking for a project on a specific subject, simply add the word “project”. For example, “veteran project”, “senior project”, “ADHD project”, “dog project”, “lost cat project” or even “(City or County Name) X project”. Or, you may find answers by choosing to Create a Project! The Helping Hand Projects or Crowdsourcing Request Projects may be especially relevant to individuals seeking to receive information or solve difficult situations.
