Project Proposal:

We need your help on this project! Help us to find Volunteers who are willing to help Seniors with their Basic Errands.

Help Seniors to remain in their homes longer! We all prefer to “Age in Place” in our own homes. What actions are most helpful when trying to find people to fill this type of volunteer position?

What people, organizations and resources really offer or need help in providing volunteer help for Seniors? Any ideas? What type of related public awareness campaigns can help to get the word out? Which community assistance programs currently need this type of volunteer? We have some organizations in mind that we want to help. Do you know of any others?

Which organizations are working to keep Seniors in their home and having a positive impact by providing help with basic errands? What are some good examples of programs that do a good job in helping Seniors with their basic errands? Please post any links to helpful examples regarding this issue in our comments section below.

Let’s work together to make it easier for Seniors who want to age in place to find the support they deserve and the information they need to find help with basic errands. Let’s make their life easier. Let’s Brainstorm and Share what Helps!
