Will you help us to gather useful information about what Help & Resources the Business Community has available to Help the Nonprofit organizations that Help Teens? What Help & Resources do they offer directly to Teens (internships, scholarships, career guidance)?

Please forward this project post to friends, family & colleagues who may be interested in contributing information to this project and helping their community!

We are looking for Businesses and their useful Teen related advice, websites, newsletters, resources or anything else that they have to offer to the public that can help Teens! For instance, what Teen Friendly or Family Friendly policies or tips do businesses have to share with other businesses in their industry? How do professional organizations, nonprofits, manufacturers, service industries, etc. reach out to attract Teens as potential workers, interns or volunteers? What do businesses do in their own organization, in their specific industry and in their own community to Help Teens?

There are many ways that the Business community can Help Teens! Businesses, offices & stores may have unwanted items that nonprofits that serve Teens can use. These items can be diverted from the landfill and put to good use. Business organizations can provide links to Teen related nonprofits & family friendly events on their organization’s website or include information in their newsletters. Some local businesses may choose to help by hanging posters about Teen and Family events/issues or Teen jobs/internships on their bulletin board. What is your business willing to do to Help Teens?

What about a special “Take your Teen to Work Day”? What about a program where Teens can “shadow” workers doing specific jobs? What about businesses sending employees into schools to do presentations on career day? We need the help of our Business Community! What can be done to help get Teens ready for the world of work? What can Businesses do to help prepare the workforce of tomorrow?

Many businesses connect their employees with volunteer opportunities in their community or offer to match employee donations to nonprofit organizations. Some offer donated services or products for silent auction fundraisers. Still others choose to be a corporate sponsor or donate meeting space for a Teen related event. If you are a business that would like to post the expertise, help, assistance programs, in kind services, event sponsorships, mentors, volunteers, items to lend or donations that you have to offer the Teen related Nonprofit organizations in your community, please post a FREE Classified Ad–Click Here!

Make it easier for people in our community to find the Child & Teen related groups when they want to help volunteer, donate items, sponsor events, or give money.
