Are you passionate about Helping with Social Equity Issues? Teen Corps offers the experience for Youth to get involved and make a difference for Social Equity! Teen Corps is for young people who would like to make a positive impact on their community while also learning great leadership, organization, entrepreneurship, decision making and planning skills. Like the Peace Corps and Americorps, Teen Corps is a beneficial experience for Youth and for the community! Teen Corps youth form into teams that have a passion for helping a cause…Animals, the Environment, Veterans, Social Equity Issues like Bullying, etc. The Teen Corps Teams identify a problem and then create an idea for a Kids Can Change the World Project (for children 12 years and under) or Teen Action Group (T.A.G.) Team projects (for Teeanagers) that would solve an Animal Issue, an Environmental problem, a Social Equity issue or other problem. Teen Corps teams use social media and innovative marketing campaigns to get the word out regarding their proposed solutions. The Teen Corps also pitches Community Projects that solve a problem to government officials, school personnel and the business community to request the community’s help in creating those projects.
